After losing in November, Trump told allies he was on track in 2024, but it was before the Capitol uprising that he spurred on that his unprecedented second accusation and his political future clouded.

Parscale was Trump’s campaign manager from 2020 until July, when he was abruptly removed from office. He remained in a limited role in the campaign until September, when he left completely after an incident at his Florida home in which Parscale was involuntarily detained by police.
In the Fox News interview, he said he is still loyal to Trump. However, Parscale disagrees with Trump’s pandemic strategy, arguing that the then president should have been more empathetic in his response.
“A young family with a young child who is afraid to take them back to school wanted to see an empathetic president. And an empathetic Republican Party,” Parscale said. “And I said it many times and he chose a different path. I do not think he was wrong, I love him, but we differed on this. I thought we should have public empathy.”
Trump is facing a second Senate indictment next week on charges of inciting the January 6 uprising at the U.S. Capitol. The House charged Trump in December 2019 on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, but he was acquitted in the Senate. It is widely expected that Trump will be acquitted again this time.
