Parler CEO John Matze told Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday that he and his colleagues had the theory that Amazon Web Services or one of the other necessary social media vendors could refuse their service.
“You just never think it’s going to happen, do you?” Matze told host Tucker Carlson. “You know? What’s really interesting is that they all did the same day, those three [Apple, Google and Amazon] without any prior warning. We woke up on Friday thinking about things, as usual. ‘
Google dropped Parler’s app from its Google Play Store on Friday. Apple followed suit on Saturday by removing the app from the App Store, while Amazon Web Services cut Parler off from its web hosting services.
Matze told Carlson that when Google dropped Parler, ‘we did not receive any notification from Google. We first read it online in the news. It’s shocking. ‘
While a non-partisan company, Parler has become a haven for Trump supporters and others who have been kicked off Facebook and Twitter or left social networks in protest.
Matze said that since Google, Apple and Amazon did not deny users access to Parler, sellers who hired his team worked out because substitutes did not want to work with his company.

“I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s scary, but I’ve seen a lot of people take part in the five minutes of hate and chase it and cheer,” Matze said. “It’s disgusting.”
“People are threatening my life,” he further claims. “I can not go home tonight. That’s really a lot, you know. It is not just our civil liberties. [Big Tech] could close a billion-dollar, half-billion-dollar company overnight. ‘
