Paradox Interactive’s annual fan event, PDXCON, goes digital this year. This announcement comes today during PDX Insider, a else digital event.

As a result of covid-19, PDXCON goes digital. The new event is officially called PDXCON Remixed. PDXCON is an annual fan base what Paradox Interactive was offered since 2017. They usually announce some great games, new updates to existing games and tease future announcements

This new version, announced today at another digital event, runs from May 21 to May 23. Paradox Interactive says people can expect panels, game announcements and other news. But it will all be streamed online, just like these days. PDXCON Remixed will be free and you can sign up here.

Paradox says it will launch a new Paradox Development Studio game during the event.

It’s a little weird to announce a digital event during a digital event Paradox CMO Daniel Goldberg joked on Twitter. But PDX Insider was not just a display window held to announce another event. During the hour-long stream, Paradox also announced itmy other things.

  • Crusader Kings III ‘‘s first DLC will appear next week. You can read more about this.
  • Surviving Mars becomes more content. Paradox has spurred a new developer to keep working on the game. A free update will be launched on March 15 focusing on tourism. And later this year, the game gets a full expansion.
  • The Stellaris expansion, Nemesis, will hit PC on April 15th. Meanwhile, the console version of the game gets a new alien species, Lithoids, on March 25th.
  • Realm of sin is on its way to Xbox Game Pass on March 18th.
