Packers to challenge Buccaneers for conference title

This is the first time in 13 years that the Packers are hosting the NFC Championship. Green Bay has reached this stage for the fourth time in the last seven seasons, but has not reached a Super Bowl in a decade.

The Buccaneers have not progressed that far in the post-season since winning the Super Bowl 18 years ago.

In terms of adapting future Hall of Fame fullbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, this will be their fourth event of all time and the second time this season. The Packers and Rodgers beat Brady and the Patriots at Lambeau Field in 2014. Brady won in 2018 in New England and in Tampa Bay.

Brady, a six-time Super Bowl winner with New England, is playing in his 14th conference title game and first in the NFC.

The Week 6 meeting between the Packers and Buccaneers was Green Bay’s first loss of the season after a 4-0 start and one of only three losses in the year. The 38-10 decision was the only time the Packers, who possess the No. 1 offense in the NFL, were kept below 22 points.
