Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Bills QB Josh Allen among players of the month

The Colts ‘defensive suit, DeForest Buckner, deserves AFC’s defensive player of the month, while Colts’ back Jonathan Taylor is the attacking rookie of the month.

As the Colts moved into the off-season, Buckner showed up in a big way. In the past month, Buckner has produced 18 tackles, six tackles for a loss, two passes defended, a forced trick and a whopping seven pockets.

Taylor was also crucial in Indy’s playoff game. Over the last five games of the regular season, Taylor has counted eight total assists, including eight on the ground. He rushed 651 yards, averaging 6.7 per carry. 10 receptions were added for 72 yards as Taylor averaged 144.6 yards per game.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Month went to Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson. He has been a perfect 10 for 10 on field goals over the past five games and was 14 for 15 on extra points.

Chicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos provided stability and then some on his way to recruiting the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month. Santos missed just one point-after-attempt, with 16 for 17 and was an excellent 12 for 12 on field goals.
