Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Agrees to Donate $ 500,000 to The Barstool Fund

Green Rod Packers’ eighth man Aaron Rodgers promises half a million dollars to help small businesses struggling through the ongoing pandemic.

Rodgers said on Instagram Live on Friday Live, founder of Barstool Sports, on Instagram Live that he agrees with Portnoy’s initial donation of $ 500,000 started by The Barstool Fund, a charity that supports businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I just want to get involved,” Rodgers said. ‘I’m in. I want the same amount you put in. You started at $ 500,000, that’s what I want. It is an honor to be a part of it. ”

The Barstool Fund has now raised more than $ 22 million and helped 102 different businesses on Sunday morning.

Rodgers believes the charity helps businesses by ‘doing something the government is not doing’. The fund provides “life-changing money” to businesses as soon as two or three days.

Rodgers also appealed to teammates and others to help the businesses he described as the ‘backbone of this country’.

“It’s a call to action for everyone out there to continue to donate and do what they can,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers said he was inspired by the videos from The Barstool Fund that help save small businesses.

“I’m in awe of what you guys did, and I could no longer sit on the sidelines,” Rodgers said. “It really has an impact. We’re talking about our people, these are our people. It is the backbone of this country that is now taking it on the chin, I want to get involved, I need to get involved. ”
