‘Pac-Man 99’ Battle Royale launches on Nintendo Switch on Wednesday

In 2019, Nintendo was launched Tetris 99 as a free Battle Royale game for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers before trying Super Mario Bros. 35 temporarily, and now it’s following those games Pac-Man 99.

The game is available exclusively on the Switch for people with the online subscription, and lets players eat Power Pellets to make ghosts vulnerable. Once players eat it, the ghosts become a Sorry Pac-Man, chasing opponents and slowing them down as the field is slowly won from 99 participants to one winner.

The base game is available for free to subscribers, while optional DLC adds CPU mode, time attack and various custom themes, while some themes refer to classic Bandai games. The themes are available for $ 2 each, while players can purchase the additional modes at an additional price of $ 15, or just get all the extras at once for $ 30.

Pac-Man 99 will begin tomorrow, April 7 at 9:00 PM ET on the Switch. Switch Online subscribers can now pre-load it by going to Nintendo’s website so they’ll be ready when the servers open.
