Overwatch 2 unveils first look at new hero Sojourn in teaser

Overwatch 2 the developers Blizzard unveiled a lot of information on the long-awaited sequel at the last BlizzCon this week, with Jeff Kaplan and his team immersing themselves in the funny passive abilities, unloading and rebound adjustments.

That’s all well and good, but as for the sequel, we want to know what new characters we’re going to play, and luckily we’ve been treated to some new details about Sojourn, which was introduced with the game in 2019.

This new hero carries a track gun, a weapon designed to evoke the feeling of old-school shooters (maybe that kind of track?). The development team said she has become a favorite among those who play the game because she can absolutely reduce the enemy’s health.

The caveat, however, is that you have to aim really well. Accommodation is a character that will require a lot of skill when it comes to your target.

The team has also outlined some changes they are currently testing with the character Reinhardt. He looks big and aggressive, so the developers wanted to try out some options that really play into how people feel he should play by looking at him.

These changes, as well as other adjustments and the prospect of replacing older modes with new ones, are not in stone at the moment. Kaplan stressed that they are trying things out and that their ideas are constantly evolving, rather than committing to bringing everything that has been discussed to the released version.

Overwatch 2 will be expected to launch for all major systems. It currently has no launch window.
