Outdoors had some bugs during the launch, as most online games do, but the worst was one that simply wiped out the player’s stock, robs them of hours of progress. A big patch went into effect over the weekend to fix the game and … the bug is still there, but now it costs players a lot more progress because they are further along.
As Eurogamer report, some users in the game’s Reddit updated the game over the weekend and still had issues, and when I say issues, I mean 50-100 hours of progress and stock was wiped out in an instant.
“All gone, 94 hours lost, almost complete construction lost, this is a joke”, wrote one. “After login, the server can not connect yada yada like everyone else.”
Developers who can fly people are aware of the ongoing problems and say: “We are very sorry that some users are still getting a stock clearance. We are doing everything in our power to solve the problem, both on the server and on the game side . ”
G / O Media can get a commission
This game should never have been so dependent on servers in the first place, and everything players are currently going through is a result of that fundamental decision. It sucks! The only good news, if there is any, is that the developers are working on a ‘restore for all affected accounts’.
