The Oklahoma Department of Health said new appointments would now be posted Wednesday night through Thursday morning.
The state expects to receive nearly 50,000 doses of the vaccine next week.
Tulsa County said their COVID-19 vaccine appointments have already been filled. No word on how many slots remain open in Oklahoma County.
Registration through the portal does not guarantee an appointment. The state will send you an email when appointments are available. Make sure you schedule the appointment as soon as you receive the email.
“The vaccine we get into every week is earmarked for distribution within the week,” said Keith Reed, deputy commissioner for health, in Oklahoma. “The vaccine and the vaccine supply are available to the public free of charge.”
The state health commissioner warns the public of vaccination fraud. The state would like to remind you that there is no way to get early access to a vaccine.
