OSBI joins Sand Springs police in fourfold homicide investigation

Sand Springs police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating a fourfold manslaughter.

News on 6 learned that investigators were able to obtain a warrant so they could enter the home and begin the investigation.

Neighbors and family members were interviewed. Investigators said the mother of one of the adult victims in the home went to look after her grandchildren earlier on Saturday and walked into a crime scene.

“It’s quite a tragedy for our community,” said Sand Springs Police Chief Todd Enzbrenner. “It’s hard for the family. This is difficult for my officers. This is difficult for the medical staff. This is difficult for you. ”

Police said the victims were two adults and their two young children. They still do not have a timeline for what led to the shooting.

This is an evolving story.
