Opponents start after week 17’s action

The 49ers’ 2021 opponents are at stake after the first series of week 17 matches. San Francisco’s full schedule only appears sometime in April, but we know their 17-home-home and road lip.

A final place in the NFC West will be able to soften their schedule, but there are a bunch of tough opponents that will make the 49ers’ path back to the Super Bowl difficult.

There is also a chance that the NFL will expand to 17 games, and according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner, the 49ers will inherit the last place of the AFC North team in their schedule, which will place the Cincinnati Bengals in this group. The location of a 17th game is unknown.
