Last year’s tour was initially planned for the regular offline track, but COVID-19 quickly put the kibosh on the plan. Capcom had planned to take the entire tour online and planned to have a Capcom Cup in the Dominican Republic, but also suffered the effects of COVID restrictions.

Finalists would rather play online exhibits against other top contestants from their respective regions, but the Tour’s 2020 definitely felt and understandably very muted compared to the usual excitement and excitement that the Tour brings.

The full CPT schedule is now available on the website, where events will begin in April and last until January 2022.
