Båtsfjord Airport (ENBS) is a local Norwegian small-scale airport that serves mainly Båtjsfjord and the surrounding region of Troms og Finnmark. Before the current facility opened on 9 September 1999, there was another airport serving Båtsfjord.
However, Wideroe, the airport’s sole carrier, has decided to replace its aging DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otters with larger DeHavilland DHC-8 aircraft, making the older facility redundant and necessitating the construction of a new airport. . At the airport, direct services are offered by Wideroe’s DeHavilland DHC-8 to various regional destinations, including Tromsø, Vadsø and Kirkenes.
Nordic scenic developer Onfinal Studio recently unveiled their detailed version of this iconic Nordic airport that MSFS users can enjoy.
