OnePlus CEO Lau talks about photography with his new iconic partner Hasselblad (VIDEO)

Hasselblad has one of the best reputations in the world of photography and its cameras are used by many professionals. We already know that thanks to a partnership with Hasselblad, OnePlus hopes to increase its camera game to new points. The first step will be to deliver more vibrant and dynamic colors and give professionals more options when it comes to editing posts. According to OnePlus, “Hasselblad Camera for Mobile will also offer enhanced HDR video recording, as well as support for recording 4K 120FPS and 8K 30FPS video.”

One of the biggest names in photography comes to OnePlus

Late last week, OnePlus has released a video called ‘Behind the Lens’ which discusses what happens between the phone maker and the iconic camera company behind the scenes. The video, which weighs 1 minute and 50 seconds, is narrated by OnePlus founder, CEO and chief product officer Pete Lau. At the beginning of the video, Lau says that “photography is an essential part” of OnePlus devices.
Interestingly, Lau shows a number of negative comments written by OnePlus 8 (T) owners and complains about the photos they took with their phones. For example one OnePlus 8T owner wrote: “You need to upgrade your camera module to 8T, it’s the same as the 8. Slightly disappointing.” Another OnePlus owner said: “I feel like if I shoot at the landscape, the sky does not melt, the blue colors (are) too low, would be great if you fix it.” Another message said: ‘Unnatural hue. One Plus fixes it. ‘Let us give you one last example. A One Plus user asked Lau to give an option for ‘spicy colors’ or natural colors. The man asked, “Have budget phones, why not in flagship killers?”
Lau said One Plus decided this year to “work with a true heavyweight partner.” The partner is of course Hasselblad and Lau says that the aim is to “create a new standard for mobile photography.” ‘The video shows some photos taken with a Hasselblad camera, and the OnePlus founder notes that the 80 years of experience Hasselblad has will find its way to the OnePlus 9 series.

Bronius Rudnickas, global marketing manager of Hasselblad, talks about achieving excellent image quality with the OnePlus 9 models. He also mentions that the partners in color tests were able to create good color quality, and the video shows some examples of photos taken on OnePlus using the Hasselblad mobile camera. Rudnickas says the partnership with OnePlus will help consumers use the camera in the OnePlus 9 series to make their best chance.

We are due to launch the OnePlus 9 series on March 23rd, along with the first smartwatch of the outfit. Rumor has it that the OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7-inch curved OLED panel with QHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This means that the screen will update 120 times per second, creating such a butterfly move and animation. The 5 nm Snapdragon 888 chipset is under the hood and possibly has 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. The rear camera range can include a 50MP Sony IMX 766 ultra-wide, a 48MP Sony IMX 789 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel phone sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The

The OnePlus 9 will apparently include a 6.5-inch flat screen and possibly a plastic mat. It is also powered by the 5nm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Both OnePlus 9 series models support 5G, have Android 11 pre-installed, carry a 4500mAh battery and offer color options of black, green and silver. Speaking of the battery, we told you today that a recent report asks the OnePlus 9 Pro to support 50 W wireless charging with a 65 W Warp charger coming out of the box. The Pro model may also offer reverse wireless charging. This will allow the user to turn off his phone screen on a desktop and use the right panel as a wireless charging pad and share the battery of his phone to charge a Qi compatible device. This could include a telephone, a smartwatch, and a wireless drawer for true wireless earbuds.
