OnePlus Phone Cameras can simply not compare to what you get on Apple and Samsung phones, but according to a new leak, help may be on the way. The company apparently works with Hasselblad on the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro.

The latest details on OnePlus’ next flagship phone has been revealed to be slightly circular, when a random fan falls The Discord Server from YouTuber Dave2D claim that you have information about the OnePlus 9 Pro.

After reaching out to the fan, Dave2D finally got a number screenshots showing what looks like a true OnePlus 9 Pro, including a new four-camera module on the back with clear Hasselblad branding, support for a 3.3x optical zoom and a few other notable specifications.

Iit’s completely possibly these screenshots are fake, but based on previous versions for the standard OnePlus 9, which has an almost identical camera module at the back, but with two camas instead of four, this leak seems to pass the initial sniffing test.

Unfortunately, when Dave2D contacted OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau, Lau did not confirm the leak or indicate that a similar camera system would be available on the standard OnePlus 9. But Lau it already went on record and said one of OnePlus’ biggest goals for 2021 is a focus on camera quality. Wwith other phone brands with notable camera companies (see Huawei’s relationship with Leica and HMDs with Zeiss for multiple Nokia phones), a collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad not only seems quite plausible, but also a very good idea for a company that wants to upgrade its camera game.

Apart from the 9 Pro’s cameras, the leak was also explained support for a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate similar to that available in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra, along with 11 GB of RAM (which is an odd number) and 256 GB of storage. And while there was no question as to which processor used the phone, based on OnePlus’ previous history with mobile chips, it’s a safe bet that the company will probably work with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888.

And in a separate game by Max Jambor, it seems the OnePlus 9 Pro too features faster 45-watt wireless charging and support for reverse wireless charging, compared to the 30 watt wireless charging that OnePlus has on the OnePlus 8 Pro.

OK, so when will we really know more? OnePlus’ next line of phones is is expected announced later this spring, with a recent report from Android Central claims that there will be some kind of launch event in March.
