Chris Olave resides in the state of Ohio for another year.
The receiving corps of Ohio in 2021 received a major boost on Monday when Olave announced he would return to the Buckeyes for his senior season, delaying his entry into the NFL draft until 2022.

If Olave had chosen to become a pro, he would probably have been selected in the first or second round of the draft. However, he decided to stay another year in Columbus for the opportunity to earn his degree from the state of Ohio and once again try to lead the Buckeyes to a national championship.
Olave has already been the leading receiver of the Buckeyes for the past two seasons and in 2021 was considered one of the leading team leaders of the state of Ohio. He will almost certainly stand in line for captaincy and will provide an experienced goal for anyone who finishes Justin Fields’ successor as the next starting quarterback in the state of Ohio.
In his first three seasons in the state of Ohio, Olave has already caught 111 passes for 1775 yards and 22 touchdowns. He ranks sixth in Ohio State history in the career he receives and 16th in both reception and reception. By returning to the state of Ohio for another year, he will see opportunity to climb the record books and leave Columbus as one of the best wide receivers of the state ever.
With Olave back in the kraal, the state of Ohio is able to have possibly the best receiving corps in college football in 2021.
