The climb continues for the Ohio State basketball team. Just outside the top 25 a few weeks ago, most polls and experts now have the Buckeyes in the top five in the country and could potentially be a number 1 seed if things continue.
Almost every opinion maker out there now has the Buckeyes among the elite teams in the country, and there is one that we have been following for some time. . Last week, Jeff Borzello, ESPN, had OSU at number 9 on his weekly power rankings, which was on his own good. But now, after a win over Iowa, combined with some losses by the teams ahead, he has now elevated the state of Ohio among the elite teams in the country.
Of course, we have to note that there is still a lot of season to go, but at this point there is no doubt that the Buckeyes will be seeded pretty high in the NCAA Tournament, wherever and whenever it is played.
