There have been so many Christmas presents for Tony sent to the department that Centner has asked the public to rather donate to their own local communities.

“We will ask that no further gifts be dropped off at the police department,” he wrote. “If you have the blessing to help, please make contact with your local communities, because there must always be filling. We are really humble about the response, not only locally, but also from all over our great country!”

Tony was temporarily staying with a foster family before a family member saw his photo in connection with local news reports and warned the father, FOX 8 Cleveland reports.
