CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northeast Ohio could see as much as 9 inches of snow by Tuesday, as avalanches will penetrate the area, according to the National Weather Service.
The region will be under a winter storm guard starting Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon, NWS said.
Forecasters predict snow drifts of 5 to 9 centimeters towards the end of the winter storm guard.
The NWS said this particular storm will occur in parts of northwestern Pennsylvania and in the northern, central and northeastern parts of Ohio.
Forecasters say travel can be ‘very difficult’ and can affect commuting routes in the morning during that time.
