LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Officials are warning of COVID-19 outbreaks at businesses across Los Angeles County, where the virus is spreading at an alarming rate.
Public health records show there have been at least 538 outbreaks at public establishments in the region, the most reported since the start of the pandemic.
One of the businesses worst affected is Target, with more than 323 positive cases in at least 14 locations, including 41 documented at the Van Nuys location alone.
Whole Foods reported 92 positive cases among employees at six locations, while Home Depot reported 236 cases at nine locations.
Provincial officials say no customers were affected by the outbreaks, though it would be difficult to know.
