In terms of titles, Hulu’s new documentary is worthy of the rise and fall of the shared workspace firm, WeWork, under the supervision of co-founder Adam Neumann, worthy of Honest Trailers.
Neumann used the established business model of shared office space, but placed a much larger vision on a company that would change the world.
Neumann’s almost cult-like government, which includes stage offerings, astronomical spending and summer camps, would eventually lead to $ 4 billion in venture capital funding, a $ 47 billion valuation and the prospect of the company having an IPO.
But the insane hype surrounding Neumann’s WeWork would crash after a $ 37 billion revaluation of WeWork’s value, something that saw the IPO scrapped and Neumann stepped down as CEO before a long legal dispute with WeWork ‘s majority shareholder, Softbank.
Hulu’s WeWork: Whether the making and breaking of a $ 47 billion Unicorn falls on the streaming service on April 2.
In other entertainment news, the makers of the 2021 Oscars ceremony insist on a lively, personal event.
