The dust has settled on the 2020 NFL season, and the fireworks will soon be lit in a free agency, with the Chicago Bears recording all the hits as one of the first teams named in every quarterback speculation.
General manager Ryan Pace is going to put the trigger of a quarterback at some point, and somehow this season, whether via trade, free agency or in the NFL draft in 2021.
Given that the Bears have the overall 20th pick, it’s unlikely that the leading quarterback of the quarter will fall for them in the first round, and while it’s likely that they will enter the draft weekend with a new starter already on the rankings are, will accept this sham proposal is not the case.

Round 1: ALIJAH VERA-TUCKER | OL | USC
If the Bears don’t go into the first-round quarter, the next logical priority is the offensive line, and Vera-Tucker makes the best of the offensive lineouts likely to be available at number 20.
Not only does he possess immediate NFL starting talent, but he is also capable of attacking the first team as offensive or as a keeper. For a roster like Chicago with weaknesses and vulnerabilities across the offensive line, Vera-Tucker’s positional versatility is a big plus.
