Good news, readers: Oddworld: Soulstorm will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PlayStation 5 when it launches on April 6th. Even better news: the game launches in a little over a month, so Sony can definitely not push it into another live stream. It feels like Groundhog Day with this title, doesn ‘t it?
By the way, the game starts on both PS5 and PS4, but only the next generation version is free – it’s the same deal as Bugsnax. In launching the title on the PlayStation blog, Lorne Lanning explained: “Soulstorm is the second game in quintology. Here you will discover massive movie scale and strange and amazing 2.9D environments filled with breathtaking footage. 2.9D you can face the world. This creates greater scale and action. Add depth and immersion. ”
Just to repeat: this game is free in April. We still have no idea what March’s PS Plus’ lineup looks similar.
