Octopath Traveler is coming to Xbox Game Pass, and Undertale has just arrived

Xbox announces the next round of games coming to Game Pass, and it’s a nice stack of decks with games like Undertale and Octopath Traveler, both are coming to Xbox for the first time.

Access all Game Pass platforms (cloud, console and computer):

  • Undertale (available today)
  • Realm of sin (Available March 18)
  • Yakuza 6: the song of life (March 25)
  • Narita Boy (March 30)

Just getting to cloud and console is Outdoors (April 1), and only available on consoles and computers Cruiser and Genesis Noir, both on March 25th.

The PC is also getting some love, with some games added to the platform not previously available to PC Game Pass subscribers:

  • Kidney: Automata (March 18)
  • Torch III (March 18)
  • Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition (March 25)
  • Supraland (March 25)

And finally, as if there were not enough games, Star Wars: Squadrons will be available for console players on EA Play from March 18th. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have access to the game via the included EA Play subscription.

Generally, there are some great games in here if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, whether you stream games, play them on the console or computer, or some of them. Undertale getting to the service (and platform) feels like a eventually, given the incredible popularity of the game and the fact that it has been available on most platforms for some time (it was released on the PlayStation Vita almost three years ago). The game was first released in 2015.

Of course, many of these games are also available on the Xbox for those who prefer to own their games. And as always, there has to be some sort of balance in the universe, so three games leave Game Pass on March 31: HyperDot, Travel to the Savage Planet, en Machinarium. If you want to play from the title, it’s probably time to jump on it!
