Ocarina or Time Unreal Engine Remake amazes Nintendo fans

Nintendo may never recreate The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but one fan of the game made a move from it in Unreal Engine, and the end product left Nintendo fans in awe and fantasizing about a proper remake on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, or possibly even the Super Switch, which the extra power needed to fully realize the Nintendo 64 classic with modern graphics.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the fifth entry in The legend of Zelda series, but the first to use 3D graphics. When it was released in 1998, it was quickly praised as one of the best games of its year, and in the end, it will not only be one of the best games of the Nintendo 64, but also one of the best games of all time. In fact, many Zelda fans consider it the best, or at least one of the best, Zelda games made to date.

That said, while The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an unmistakable classic, it did not get very old like most early 3D games. Not only are the controls clever, but the footage is not too hot either, making the above remake of YouTuber Yianni Papazis all the more impressive. As you can see, Papazis has rebuilt Castle Town and some other parts of the game in Unreal Engine. And as might be expected, Nintendo fans are over the moon in the comments.

While Nintendo sits Ocarina of Time, it’s currently working on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which may be released sooner than previously thought. Meanwhile, the series is also celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. At the celebration of the same anniversary last year for Mario, Nintendo has grown, and many Nintendo fans expect it to do something similar Zelda. In other words, there is still hope that we may see something like the video above in the near future.
