NYC teen charged in connection with attack on BMW gangs against allegation

The 15-year-old boy from Queens who was arrested as part of the stray bicycle gang that crashed into two cars in Manhattan, said on Thursday that the allegations against him were ‘bulls’, and insisted he had an alibi – and that he does not even own a bicycle.

Geovanni Valle, who was arrested late Wednesday on charges of criminal rioting and rioting for daylight attacks, denied being involved when The Post picked him up outside his home in Corona, hours after he was released from a juvenile detention center. .

“I think it’s bulls,” says Valle. “I was not even there!”

The teenager said he picked up a birthday present for his mother at the Queens Center Mall around 4pm on Tuesday when dozens of cycling teenagers randomly assaulted two vehicles along Fifth Avenue, first a yellow cabin in 29th Street, then a BMW SUV at 21st Street.

“It was my mother’s birthday. I gave her a present, a sweater and shoes,” said Valle, who showed The Post a receipt for the mall’s Footaction shoe store with a 15:49 time stamp.

Valle said he showed the same receipt to police, who were not convinced.

“They said it didn’t matter,” Valle recalled. ‘Other people have said it’s me [at the crime scene]. “

The teenager’s father, Oscar Valle, said police showed images of a teenager at the crime scene who they said was the youngest of his three sons.

“The police say for sure, he’s the one!” says Elder Valle. But he noticed that the boy in the picture was’ much taller and very strong! My son is a skinny guy. ‘

Geovanni held the photo of the suspect to his own face, “I don’t think it looks like me.”

Geovanni’s older brother, Johnathan, admitted that there is some similarity.

“It looks quite a bit like him,” he said, noting that there was another reason he did not think his brother was involved. “He does not have a bicycle to do this.”

Oscar said it was difficult to arrest his son.

“I feel depressed when I see my child being handcuffed, treated like a criminal,” he said. “He’s only 15.”

Geovanni Valle said his only awareness of the wild attacks was to see a video of it on social media.
