NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU Liquid and Mineral Oil Cooled Cryptocurrency Miners Spotted

We’ve all seen some crazy mining equipment, but the latest takes it a step further by putting several NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs under premium cooling. Setups were noticed by Ek_Lek_VN which features mining equipment with premium loop sets and even mineral oil to cool GeForce RTX GPUs.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs Equipped Cryptocurrency Mining Equipment with Premium Custom Loop and Mineral Oil Cooling

The first system shown in the picture contains a total of 10 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs. The GeForce RTX 3090 is currently the fastest graphics card for cryptocurrency mining, especially ETH (Ethereum). The GPU also needs a lot of cooling to make it work in a steady phase, especially if you really push those 19.5 GDDR6X memory modules, 12 on each side of the PCB. The rig is massive and is specially built to accommodate all graphics cards.

You can see that each of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 uses what appears to be a Bitspower water block, based on the back plate and logo. Each card is equipped with a 280 mm cooler and there are three Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W PSUs attached. The aluminum frame has the GPUs that run down riser cables, which are connected to the MSI B360-F PRO mine board, enabling up to 18 GPUs simultaneously. All GPUs loaded in mining deliver a temperature below 50 ° C, which is impressive but also expected given the use of enthusiastic cooling.

The second computer comes from a cryptocurrency mining institution in Vietnam and the user here manages a total of 8 ASUS GeForce RTX GPUs that are cooled by mineral oil. Mineral oil cooling has its own advantages over standard liquid cooling and ensures that all components are cooled at the same rate, rather than variable temperatures in GPUs, VRAMs and VRMs. The whole computer is under the coolant and we can also expect lower temperatures if the cards are used under the mining operations.

Nor can we forget the insane RGB-Lit cryptocurrency mining rig that contains 78 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. You can check out more about this here.
