Nreal unveils a new mixed reality headset for enterprise users, and is also making its Nreal Light model available in additional countries after it was launched in Korea and Japan last year.
As of today, Nreal Nreal Light will expand into new key markets, including the European Union and the US. The business expense makes sense because the technology is still quite expensive for consumers. Enterprise customers, on the other hand, do not mind paying more for high-mixed-reality solutions, especially if they make highly paid employees more productive.
The company’s headset is expected to launch in 2021. One of the sweet spots for mixed-reality technology, whether it is virtual reality or augmented reality, has been in virtual training, where the cost of making mistakes with very expensive equipment is not that high. as it would be in the real world.
Asked about the timing of the operating issue, Nreal told VentureBeat that while Nreal Light offers a compact and lightweight form factor that appeals to consumers, customers of businesses have also used these MR glasses in conjunction with Nreal’s own computer package (CPU). ) as an enterprise device.

The FinchRing is a new 6-degree mixed-freedom director (6DoF) for mixed reality that offers full freedom of movement and seamless interaction with 360-degree spatial detection. FinchRing works inside or outside the field of view of Nreal Light (FoV) and can be used indoors, outdoors and in any weather condition.
Last year, Nreal introduced its Nreal Light glasses for mixed reality, with the aim of making augmented reality more accessible to consumers. In 2021, Nreal wants to bring mass adoption one step closer.
Nreal enters the fray with a new class of business headset. The company is introducing a customizable and lightweight MR headphones that will showcase the company during the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai 2021.
The Nreal Enterprise Edition is built on a computer unit and a battery for longer power. Nreal Enterprise Edition has a comprehensive halo design and also offers a balanced fit from front to back. And for added convenience, users can also control the company’s headset through eye tracking and gesture recognition technologies.

Users spent an average of 49 minutes a day on Nreal Light. The top 20% spend an average of 120 minutes a day. Nreal also introduced its headset in Japan in a partnership with KDDI.
Nreal Light will be launched in the European Union through a partnership with the two leading providers in the region, while it will be launched in the US in the second quarter of 2021. Nreal will be showcasing new MR programs coming to Nreal Light during the Mobile World Congress. These include Tagesschau 2025, a weather app that radiates a holographic weather anchor before your eyes; Dunkaar, a basketball game where you can shoot and dunk virtual basketball; Dragon Awakening, a heroic fantasy online game; Magenta Sport, an AR version of football; and an MR version of the rhythm game Space Channel 5.
