Norwegian scientists say AstraZeneca DID caused blood clots as British and Dutch experts reject the theory – RT World News

Norwegian scientists have linked the AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clots – a condition seen in some people that has led countries around the world to stop using it. But British and Dutch medics say there is no evidence for such a link.

“The cause of the condition of our patients has now been found,” Pal Andre Holme, head of a research group at Oslo University Hospital, told the VG media in Norway. He referred to the cases of three health workers under the age of 50 who suffered severe blood clotting after receiving the AstraZeneca jab. One of the medics died on Monday.

The clotting in those patients was caused by a very specific “Strong immune response” probably caused by the AstraZeneca jab, Holme explained. In collaboration with the University Hospital of Northern Norway, Holme’s team detected specific antibodies “Activate” platelets and can cause blood clots in some cases.

Asked by VG whether the vaccine “most probably” cause of this particular immune response, Holme said he believes “There is no other thing” in the history of the three individual patients that would generate such a response. None of the three patients had previously had similar health issues, he said.

I’m pretty sure these antibodies are the cause, and I see no other reason than that it’s the vaccine that causes them.

The professor continued to acknowledge that such side effects are likely to be very rare since “We’re talking about very specific antibodies.” Norway has stopped using the AstraZeneca jab in its vaccination campaign along with many other European countries. About 120,000 Norwegians have already received samples from the British-Swedish company. According to Norwegian media, “very little” serious side effects have been reported by those vaccinated to date.

However, some Norwegians were apparently willing to risk their chances, lethal side effects or not, to save humanity. Earlier this week, journalist Linn Wiik announced that she would do so “Love to die” of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine as her sacrifice would help humanity win the war against the virus.

Norwegian scientists have revealed the results of their analysis, just as the British medical regulator, MHRA, said there was no evidence to prove the link between the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clotting.

“This type of blood clot can naturally occur in people who have not been vaccinated, as well as in those who suffer from COVID-19,” the CEO of MHRA, dr. June Raine, said in a statement, adding that her agency “Thorough and careful review” showed that blood clots in the veins of affected people occur just as often as they would “In the absence of vaccination.”

Separately, the Dutch Lareb Center, which had to study the side effects of the AstraZeneca jab, also reported that it “Has no evidence” of a link between the vaccine and blood clotting. The center said it was received A few dozen reports on thrombosis and pulmonary embolism associated with all vaccines, and add it “Reports so far give no reason to think that thrombosis is a side effect of corona vaccines.”

Italy, France and other EU countries to resume use of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine after review of EU blood clot

Earlier, a group of nations in Europe and beyond, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain, among others, suspended the deployment of the AstraZeneca vaccine amid reports of the potentially deadly blood clot. The Swedish Medical Products Agency recently said a previously healthy woman had died of blood clotting a week after taking Covid-19 jab from AstraZeneca.

The news also prompted the European Drug Regulator, EMA, to launch its own investigation into all relevant matters. The agency said Thursday that it was the jab “Safe and effective,” to re-use several countries, including Italy, Cyprus and Ireland.
