Norway has issued a story of warning for the old and terminally ill people who are being vaccinated against coronavirus after 23 people died in the countries shortly after receiving the vaccine.
“For those with the worst fragility, even side effects from relatively mild vaccines can have serious consequences,” the Norwegian Institute of Public Health warned. “For those who have a very short remaining lifespan anyway, the benefit of the vaccine may be marginal or irrelevant.”

Of the 23 deaths, 13 autopsies revealed that common side effects contributed to reactions in vulnerable and elderly people, reports the Norwegian Medicines Agency.
The warning, Norwegian officials said, did not mean that the elderly or younger generations should be vaccinated. It’s just to give concern and issue a warning to the sick and vulnerable people to be careful while being vaccinated against the deadly virus.

The initial investigation revealed that almost three-quarters of the people affected by this were older than 80, the regulator claimed in its report.
Vaccine manufacturers, FPfizer-BioNtech, are working with the Norwegian regulator to investigate the deaths, claiming that “the number of incidents so far is not alarming, and in line with expectations”.
As of now, Norway has administered the first dose of coronavirus vaccine to nearly 33,000 people, preferably vulnerable, the elderly and health workers. So far, the majority of people have been administered the Pfizer vaccine, and a few others with similar doses of Moderna.
