Norton Healthcare implements vaccine waiting list

Norton Healthcare recently implemented a COVID-19 vaccination waiting list for those eligible under the Kentucky state government guidelines.

Norton Healthcare compiled the waiting list as it became clear that the demand for vaccinations exceeded inventory. The size of Norton Healthcare’s waiting list does not affect the allocation of vaccines.

Visit NortonHealthcare.com to sign up for the waiting list. Click on the “Eligible Vaccination” button in the red box “Schedule your vaccine” on the home page. You will be asked to be eligible. If there are appointments available, you can plan vaccination. If the current inventory is depleted, the appointment will be scheduled and you will have the opportunity to click on the “Join Waiting List” button.

The waiting list follows the order of sign-ups. Those who registered first will be offered a vaccination appointment sooner than those who register later. Once you register, you will receive an email with additional information.

The Norton Healthcare waiting list is separate from the former Louisville Metro interest list for public health and wellness. Those who have signed up for the city’s interest list will not be transferred to the Norton Healthcare waiting list. If you put your name on the city’s interest list, you should still be on the Norton Healthcare list. Your place in the queue depends on when you sign up for the Norton Healthcare waiting list.

Healthcare workers and those aged 70 and over can currently be vaccinated according to state guidelines. If you are struggling to register online, ask a friend or family member to help you.

As soon as you receive your first dose, you will automatically get an appointment for your second dose.

We know there is a huge demand to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and we are working hard to make an appointment for everyone as the offer allows.
