North Korea shows what it calls ‘world’s most powerful weapon’

Just before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, North Korea held a parade attended by its leader Kim Jong-un, which reportedly displayed a new ballistic missile with a submarine, which he called the world’s call “most powerful weapon”.

The BBC, citing state media, reported that four of these missiles were spotted in Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on Thursday, following a meeting in which Kim called the US Pyongyang’s ‘biggest enemy’.

Kim described the US as the “biggest enemy” of the North and said the fate of bilateral relations would depend on whether Washington rejected what Pyongyang considered hostile policy.

During its last military parade in October, the North unveiled a range of new strategic weapons, including what was the largest yet intercontinental ballistic missile.
