Nokia drops deeper into AOSMark points list

AOSMark is a website that gives scores to Android phone makers based on how many OS updates they previously sent to their phones on average.

The more important updates one manufacturer announces, the higher the AOSMark score. It should also relate to the end users who are more satisfied with his phone, but it usually does not. Either way, AOSMark updated its leaderboard again on March 25, and Nokia dropped to 11th place, just above oppo, realme and Huawei. Since Nokia has a lot of smartphones to update, and the updates have yet to come to many phones, it does not surprise me the current position.

But what surprises me is the number Nokia devices are the AOSMarket the team thinks they are running Android 11.. Nokia Mobile has so far released Android 11 to Nokia 8.3 5G and Nokia 3.2, and that’s it. However, AOSMark has Nokia 5.3 there, along with Nokia 2.2 and Nokia 2.3. All of these devices are also mentioned as using Android 10, so that does not change the score, but let me wonder what AOSMark knows that many of us do not.

So, I have the FAQ section and found that the team also counts devices that appear on their range, with beta versions of the latest OS update usually having to be close to the release cycle.

If you use Geekbench for Nokia devices with Android 11, you will find Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 3.4. Some devices are on the AOSMark list, but some are not.

Anyway, we can then add Nokia 2.2 and Nokia 2.3 as it is probably the Android 11 version that is almost ready to be released.
