HMD Global is bringing an unlocked version of the Nokia 5.4 to the US with a release date on February 15th at a reasonably affordable price of $ 250. It is now available to pre-order from Amazon.
As with the international version, the US-bound Nokia 5.4 strives for a balance between the usual staples of cheap phones with a bit of style and speed. The 6.4-inch 720p screen will not excite you, but it is paired with a solid Snapdragon 662 chip, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB expandable storage and a 4000 mAh battery that is expected to last up to two days offer. You can also get the phone in a striking purple (“Dusk”) or deep blue (“Polar Night”).

The 48MP main camera, the ultra-wide 5MP sensor and the 2MP macro camera are common for phones in this class, but the 16 MP cell phone shooter with holes may be more than you expected. The most striking exterior design compromise is a rear fingerprint reader instead of the on-screen sensors that reach many recent phones.
Part of the allure may come from the software. The Nokia 5.4 comes with a large chunk of Android 10, but there are promises of two years of updates to the OS feature and three years of security patches.
Whether the Nokia 5.4 is a good value or not depends on your budget and priorities. It may not offer as much money as Google Pixel 4a, but you can also save $ 100 – this may be just what you want if you’re less concerned about camera quality and CPU speed than the basics like screen size and battery.
