Nocturnal Entries: The New Normality of the Cement of the Mayor of Latin America

In these three decades of work, the oldest antiquities of the mayor of Sao Paulo Cement have been found to have less than 10 nocturnal interiors. But since the second pandemic in Brazil has taken place, this exception has been transformed into a rule.

The vertigo increase of cases and deaths in Sao Paulo in the last months obliges the Alcaldia of the most rich and populous city of the country to adapt its plan of action to avoid a collapse: in addition to contracting more personnel and vehicles to attend the request, the authorities carried out nocturnal journals in four of the 22 municipal cemeteries, each of which had 600 fires.

One of these is the Vila Formosa, the largest in Brazil and Latin America, and one of the deadliest costs of the pandemic in Brazil, where more than 360,000 people were killed by covid-19.

At 18:00 the changing room will be guarded and the huge light bulbs powered by generators will be lit, which will illuminate the tubes and impregnate the oil cell in diesel. In May 2020, during the first pandemic, the camper incorporated three excavators to open 60 waterfalls per day. Now, there are six machines running 200 days a day, say the sepulchers, who have their work done until 22H00.

We also buy 50 vans to load the car, because the carriages do not fit. The Alcaldia does not allow transport vehicles to form part of this fleet, a version that is increasingly circulating in the local media.

The huts of the footpath will house a ‘verdeamarela’ t-shirt from the Brazilian selection on the road. “It’s the only thing we can do”, said the sepulcher who supported the interior documents.

It is supported by the presence of periodicals and photographers, the speakers will be able to identify themselves without being identified. All those evacuated, said the pandemic was more severe in the administrative staff of the workers, than in those who work with them in open spaces.

“I think it’s a fast ending, because it’s very sad. We’ll not be emotional in our work, but it’s sad, it’s a lot of people, a lot of time,” .

El Vila Formosa has more than 1.5 million units in 750,000 m2. In March I set out my peak with 105 animals in a single day, three times more than the antidote to the pandemic.

On March 30, the city of Sao Paulo marked a record entry of 426 people in a single day. The experience has not been repeated since then; the actual release is of 391 deaths and 325 entries per day.

Alcaldía advises that if the daily diary is for over 400 animals, then new media, even though the Villa Formosa will be open 24 hours a day.

The aid analyzes the construction of a vertical cement in this zone, while the frames of the Villa Formosa are filled with speed.

Sepulators calculate that in 12 months it will use 26 lots, surface that in pre-pandemic times renders for more than two years of age.

“Here I have space to follow”, double stone one of the men. “Ahora, a este ritmo no sé hasta cuándo habrá”.
