Fullback Kyle Juszczyk may sign with the 49ers again, but there is no agreement yet.
49ers general manager John Lynch tweeted: “I’m thirsty. Niners fans, you want some ‘Juice?’ ‘Early Sunday morning and the reference to Juszczyk’s nickname led many to believe that he would sign with the 49ers again. Joe Linta, Juszczyk’s agent, referred in a reply to Lynch’s tweet, saying his client remains on track for free agency.
“I want juice too. But this is lasts at this time of year, ”Linta said via Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Linta and the 49ers it is talking again on Sunday afternoon. If the conversation does not end with an agreement on a new contract, the 31 other teams in the league are free to get in touch with Juszczyk and Linta when the negotiation window opens on Monday.
