Nintendo Switch releases two classic games for a limited time

Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite made not one, but two games for free, or more specifically, Capcom made two of its games on Switch and Switch Lite for free. Following the Nintendo Direct of yesterday – with the announcement of Splatoon 3, a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter, and a new Mario Golf – Capcom decided to put everyone together by making both Ghosts a goblins and 1943: The Battle of Midway free download.

The former is being released to mark the upcoming launch of Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection. After Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection will be released on February 25, the game will no longer be free and will be made available as a standalone purchase. That said, if you download the game before then, it’s yours to keep forever.

Meanwhile, it 1943: The Battle of Midway seems to be a permanent freebie. The shoot-up arcade game began in 1987, and to this day it is widely regarded as one of the best and most popular arcade games of all time. As Ghosts a goblins, it’s also free to keep once downloaded.

It is important to note that all of the above information is subject to change. In other words, it’s all accurate at the time of publication, but by the time you read it, some or all of these things may have changed.
