Nintendo Switch Pro rumors appear online with release date

A new rumor about the Nintendo Switch Pro surfaced online and possibly shed light on the console release date. For over a year we have been hearing rumors and reports about a new, more powerful Nintendo Switch. Over time, this console is referred to as the Nintendo Switch Pro, but Super Nintendo Switch has also recently been tossed around. Whatever the console is eventually called remains to be seen, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that Nintendo is working on a new Nintendo Switch model. After all, where there is so much smoke, there is fire.

The latest rumor comes in the way of Nintendo-loving NateDrake, which was one of the first to announce the existence of the console when rumors and reports about the machine were scarce. The leaker talked about the console and said that the console will be announced this financial year. However, the console itself could be delayed until 2022, indicating that the plan would be at some point to release it this year.

“I believe it will be announced in the coming financial year,” the leak said. “The plan was to release this year, but I suspect it will be delayed until 2022. Delays can, and will, still be a variable to find out when we hear about it and will see it.”

In addition to the omission of information about the release of the console, the leak also claimed that the Nintendo Switch Pro DLSS will be based on the hardware, i.e. that it does not go through the dock, and that is good news for those prefer play on the game.

Unfortunately, the fun did not reveal much else about the console, at least because of it. And what must of course be made public must be taken with a grain of salt. While many consider the source to be reliable, it does not change the fact that everything here is unofficial. Furthermore, even if it is all one hundred percent accurate, it cannot remain so because everything is subject to change. As for Nintendo, he has not yet commented on this, but if we do for some reason, we will update the story.
