The week-long trial is playable from 30 December to 5 January
Full game trials are something I generally want to see more about and also specifically for multiplatform games. Sometimes you want to see – and feel – how a particular game on Switch works, you know?
This week, Nintendo is hosting another of its infrequent Nintendo Switch Online gaming trials. If you have a membership and are in a kart racing mood, you can check out the full version of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled from Wednesday 30 December at 11:00 PT to Tuesday 5 January at 23:59 PT.
By ‘full version’ they mean you play CTR Nitro-powered alone, locally or online – the latter is a bloodbath! This is one of those games that many people are amazingly good at. They are monsters. Trust no one.
If you’re wondering if this limited time is worth it, I would say so. The file size is 9.3 GB.
Crash Team Racing is not currently on sale on Switch, but it’s on PS4 and Xbox One up to $ 14.
