Nintendo Switch Online Gets New Free Trial

Over the next few days, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to visit a free trial Overcoat 2. As with previous trials, this player offers access to the full version of the game, with all the modes and features that the paid version offers. Overcoat 2 is the latest such experiment that follows Crash Team Racing Nitro-Stoked, which subscribers could check out last month. This is a nice benefit for Switch fans, and it can only give them an incentive to watch the full version of the game once the trial period ends!

Nintendo’s announcement can be found below.

Before Crash team racing nitro-Fired up, these full game offers usually focus on first party games like Smallpox Tournament DX. It was clear that this was not just a one-time thing for the service, and it seems that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can expect to see more games like Overcoat 2 in the future. It will be interesting to see for what other titles Nintendo trials will offer, but fans can not expect to know more soon; Nintendo tends to keep these trials quiet until just before they are released, so fans will probably not know what to expect next before the next one is available!

For those unfamiliar with Overcoat 2, the game is a frantic cooperative game that was originally released in 2018. Developed by Team 17 and Ghost Town Games, Overcoat 2 gives players the task of cooking food and preparing meals in fast-paced restaurants with fantastic themes. Players can unlock various outfits for their chef while preparing meals in interactive locations. The game has single player options, as well as local and online multiplayer. With the weekend ahead, this could be the perfect opportunity for subscribers to jump online and experience all that the game has to offer!

The free trial for Overcoat 2 is now live and lasts until February 16 at 11:59 PM PT.
