It would seem that Nintendo has pulled quite a few DSiWare games that were available in the eShop of the 3DS. The games taken from the digital store window apparently only apply to North America, but that may soon change if the European and Japanese eShop follow the same trend. More than 250 titles have reportedly been removed from January 1, and it looks like these are all games released before mid-May 2011. However, there are some exceptions:
- Art Academy: first semester – September 2009
- Academy of Arts: Second semester – September 2009
- Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr – April 2010
- Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon – Oct 2009
- Sudoku (Electronic Arts) – October 2009
There is no announcement from Nintendo or an explanation as to why the above titles have not been touched, but if you’re thinking of grabbing any DSiWare games on the 3DS and you are not in North America, we suggest you grab sooner rather than later.
