Nintendo Leaker gives tips to Big Switch Games for 2021

An insider from Nintendo is possibly leaking the biggest video games being developed for the Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Nintendo has been keeping its cards close to its chest lately, choosing to keep most of its upcoming Nintendo Switch projects a secret. However, the company undoubtedly has some great games that it plans to release in 2021, it’s just a matter of what those games are. While Nintendo itself remains silent about its 2021 plans, it is possible that some of the Nintendo Switch games launched this year have leaked online.

This potential leak comes from Twitter user PH Brazil, who has accurately leaked a lot of Nintendo news in the past. PH Brazil did not explicitly mention anything, but shared an image representing four Nintendo franchises with the caption “Feliz 2021”. PH Brazil then follows it up with another tweet from another Nintendo franchise. It seems that many online think that PH Brazil is proposing that these games or franchises appear on the Nintendo Switch in 2021.

The first image comes from a trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. With 2021 the 35th anniversary of the Zelda franchise, many people expected Nintendo to celebrate with big game releases. There seems to be no better way to make Zelda‘s anniversary memorable as with Breath of the Wild 2‘s long-awaited release date.

Meanwhile, the other three franchises from the initial tweet Splatoon, Metroid, en Fire emblem. It seems a little early for Splatoon 3, so maybe Nintendo is planning an expansion Splatoon 2. Then again Nintendo’s support for Splatoon 2 has died out significantly in the past year, so maybe a Splatoon 3 release is justified. Sover as Metroid go, it is possible that the tweet refers Metroid Prime 4, but other rumors suggest that game is still years away from release. Maybe PH Brazil refers to the rumored 2D Metroid game, but that’s just speculation right now.

Fire emblem: Three houses just launched in 2019, so it’s kinda hard to believe it’s a brand new thing Fire emblem game is already coming to the Nintendo Switch. Then again, a new Fire emblem game tends to release every two to three years, so maybe that’s exactly what fans are up for.

And finally, PH Brazil refers to the rumors Pokémon diamond and Pearl remakes with an image of Dialga. Without extra context for these images and tweets, fans should not fill up too much stock in them, but it will be interesting to see how closely the Switch’s 2021 game series matches these images when all is said and done.
