It’s official, Splatoon 3 – whether you are ready for it or not, comes on the Nintendo Switch next year.
If you have read the history of the third game, you know that it is located in a new region called Splatlands – a harsh wild environment. In the first trailer for the game, we also took a look at Splatsville, the “city of chaos”.
According to a mailing list on Nintendo’s Japanese website (via Nintendo dataminer HawermoutDome), the company is currently looking for a level designer to refurbish “existing” stages.
OatmealDome wonders how this could possibly mean stages of the original Splatoon and Splatoon 2 return. In addition, the level designer will also be required to adjust stages, weapons, and game modes, place stage objects per game level, and balance weapon parameter data.
How would you feel about returning to previous stages in Splatoon 3? What stages would you like to see return? Share your thoughts below.
