Nintendo accidentally contains a Banjo Kazooie Wii U game

Nintendo made a little mistake this week because they accidentally listed Banjo-Kazooie come to the Wii U Virtual Console. Earlier today, some sharp-eyed people at Game Watch recorded a Japanese list of the original N64 title that came to the VC, along with another game called Explosives, both made by Rare. Within hours, however, the game was removed from the site, prompting much interest in what was going on and making some wonder if it was a mistake or a hint for something else. Later, an apology was issued on the website explaining that the listing was an error and that there was no intention to release any game on the Wii U VC. This makes sense because everything related to the console is dead.

Man, wouldn't it be fun to play Banjo Kazooie on the Switch outside of Smash Bros? Thanks to Nintendo.

However, it has started to arouse interest among gamers as to whether it is an indication of something bigger on the horizon. While Nintendo has made a few releases here and there with the NES and SNES libraries on Nintendo Switch Online, they have had to expand yes to the 3D console area over the past nineties. There have been rumors for more than a year that we are going to see an N64 version on NSO any day now, but it never comes to fruition. Same with Game Cube and Wii rumors, but nothing happened. It’s going to add another file to the N64 fire, but it’s far from proof that the company is currently working on the release. However, we can not say that we would not like to see the N64 appear there Banjo-Kazooie as one of the titles. That said, we would also like Nintendo to add more to the SNES library, as there are several major games that have not been added to it yet.
