Ninja Theory no longer develops Flowering edge, a 4 on 4 fighter who arrived on PC and Xbox One less than a year ago. The game will stay playable on both platforms, but there will be no more content updates.
Since the studio is now focusing on our new projects (Senua’s Saga, Project Mara & The Insight Project), we decided that there would be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge. The game can still be played on Xbox and PC. Thank you so much to the fans and keep working together and cause chaos!

Although Flowering edge had a solid concept and a nice art style, never found enough of a fanbase Polygon point it out. According to SteamCharts, the game had an average of only 480 simultaneous players on Steam during the launch month of March 2020. The number of Steam players has decreased to an average of just 4.1 over the past 30 days. So, while Flowering edge is still alive, you might not even find enough people to play a full game for.
It is not too surprising that the ninja theory owned by Microsoft has shifted resources elsewhere. With Project: Mara and The Insight Project, a sequel to Hellblade: Senua is a victim is in progress. There is no release date for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, but it’s coming to PC and Xbox Series X.
