Called Go Flyease, these are Nike’s first pair of lace-up sneakers that can be easily put on and taken off without using your hands. The comfortable shoe comes at a time when people are touching less things during the pandemic and a revival of easy-going peers who put little effort into getting on and off, like Crocs.
The Go Flyease has unique features, including a strap that fastens the shoe in place of laces. To put it on only involves stepping into the shoe so that it can click into place. Removal is done by stepping on the heel.
The shoes will go on sale on February 15 for $ 120 for subscribers to the free membership program on Nike’s website. Wider availability is planned for later this year.
The new shoes from Nike come at a time when consumers who are at home are craving comfort. It turns out Crocs (KROK)most recent earnings, which showed a 55% increase in revenue. The company said it expects 2020 to be the biggest year of sales ever.
