Nicki Minajse pa, Robert Maraj, died after being hit in a hit-and-run accident … TMZ has learned.
Police in Nassau County, New York, say he was walking on the road between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue around 6pm ET on Friday night when he was hit by a vehicle heading north. Police officers say the driver then fled the scene without the witnesses meaningfully describing it.

Robert was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away this past weekend. The Homicide Squad is investigating the matter and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the responsible party. The suspect vehicle was not properly described.
Nicki has not yet spoken about her father’s death. There are shots that have embraced them over the years, so of course they have had a decent relationship and seen each other from time to time. It’s unclear what Nicki’s relationship with her father is currently.
A rep for Nicki confirmed her father’s death, but has not yet commented.
Robert was only 64 years old.
