NFL Trade Rumors: Eagles Talk About Brandon Brooks

The Philadelphia Eagles appear to be open to Pro Bowl three-time right-back Brandon Brooks. NFL insider Albert Breer reports that Brooks’ name came up in trade discussions this off-season.

Breer specifically mentioned Brooks among players from “the more tense teams” who will try to “get value back for high-quality, high-salary players.”

Among the NFL’s best guards before he was injured, a torn Achilles cost him the 2020 season. But he was healthy enough to exercise before the end of the year, and the 31-year-old is under contract for the next four years for a reasonable $ 53.2 million and this year only $ 10.5 million.
