Despite multiple positive COVID-19 Tests in the Browns organization, the NFL expects Cleveland to host the Steelers-Browns game as planned on Sunday.

In a media call today focusing on the league’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, league officials said the game could be played safely in Cleveland.

The league has insisted he will not postpone matches for competitive reasons. If, for example, the Browns found themselves in a similar situation to the Broncos when they had to hide all their backs and use Kendall Hinton, a wide receiver from the training group, the NFL would still let the Browns play Sunday. Only if it is considered unsafe to play the match would the league postpone it.

The NFL says the Browns do not have an outbreak in their facility, but that only several people in the organization have been exposed to COVID-19 in the community. This will not be considered a reason to postpone the game. And so it seems that the game is on.
